Little win #3: loving Juliet, my wife. We’ve been together for 20 years. 20 years! But how fortunate is it to keep loving [simply] hanging out each evening. Chat, chat, chatting about our day. And looking at her and feeling all the love I have for her. Aawwwwwww. But it is true. A constant BIG little win
My little win #2: continuing each day to rediscover my love of reading, for pleasure. Usually at the end of the day, propped up by pillows in bed. Or if, likely a weekend, it’s at a different time of day, it’s just as great. It’s always great. I am relaxed and contented. I open my book, on my bookmarked page and I re-enter another world. ‘The Maid’ by Nita Prose was wonderful, for a recommendation, in 2023, btw
Love this - so important to celebrate the little wins! I was really pleased today to plant a new hellebore I'd not expected to have (early Christmas present) - that was a real treat.
I love that you've focused on little wins, as so often they can lead to really big and impactful changes. I'm going to have a think now about what my little wins have been - and what little things I can focus on in the new year. Thanks for the inspiration! 😊

Love love love this! Me and my partner celebrated 19 years on 23 Dec, having someone in your life like that for so long is so special :)
Yes, it really is Emma. Many, many CONGRATULATIONS to you both!

Thank you Anne! We're very lucky... and happy!
